pag1Introducing the latest teaching materials coordinated by Linguapax delegate for Latin America, José Antonio Flores Farfan. This illustrated tale shows the traditional knowledge of the Ojibwe people of North America about the stars, linking different different worlds through art, language and science. The text written in Ojibwe is translated into Kickapoo, Yucatec Mayan, Spanish and English. Like all teaching materials edited by Linguapax Latin America, its aim is to contribute to the revitalization of language and culture of native peoples of the continent. These booklets are used in workshops aimed at young members of indigenous communities, in which linguistic games, animations and audio projections are used alternately to contribute to empowerment in different areas.
