Arrèxini, the first festival on Sardinian culture and language

The title of the event represents roots, which connect one to the land and have a number of functions. During the festival there will be debates on important issues such as the question of the history of Sardinia in school curricula, the role of Sard in society and in the public administration, the decolonisation of thought, and research in Sardinia with “Filosofia de Logu”.

The programme also includes book presentations about the issue of the language in contemporary society, workshops on language, comics and bread, Sardinian music of all kinds, tours to the villages of Biddanoa de Forru and Ussaramanna, which will host the festival on 24, 25 and 31 July, and 1 August.
