Olympic Games and Languages in New Caledonia

Olympic Games are not only about sport when they are hosted by a multilingual country such as New Caledonia, where Linguapax Pacific has its base.
The New Caledonia Olympic Committee (NC2011) knows this well, which is why, on Friday 9 July, it signed an agreement with Linguapax for the promotion of languages at the XIV Pacific Games.
The agreement aims to develop synergy between the two associations on multilingualism especially for an international event such as the Pacific Games. NC2011 already received support from Linguapax for its advertising campaign in April with the translation of the slogan "Games which unite us" in the 12 languages of New Caledonia and its neighbours.
