Form this perspective, all language policies (even those that aim to abolish all language policies) play a decisive role: modern societies, i.e. individuals and groups, are clearly moving towards multilingualism as the core of cultural and linguistic identities, destined not at confrontation, but to coexistence and mutual enrichment.
