European Parliament urges China to Respect the Native Language of the Tibetan People.
Since the proposition of the new language policy by the Chinese Government regarding their education policy, the EP has passed a resolution condemning the repression of the Tibetan language. The EP has urged the Chinese government to provide a truly bilingual educational policy, including the option to be able to study all subjects in the Tibetan language as well as in Mandarin.
