Projects Aimed at Documenting and Preserving Endangered Languages
The Links section of the Linguapax website contains many programs and websites showcasing their projects and plans along with a sea of information about endangered and non-endangered languages alike. These include Grup d'Estudi de Llengües Amenaçades (GELA), Ethnologue, Terralingua, Linguamon (House of Languages), and Linguasphere just to name a few.
Another project however, is National Geographic's "Dissappearing Languages: Enduring Voices- Documenting the Planet's Endangered Languages." It contains an interactive map of the various regions of interest around the world and higlights the various cultural aspects and languages of each region. An especially good introductory source for newcomers to the topic of endangered languages.
