This interview with Dr. David Harrison of Swathmore College discusses the problem of Linguicide as a prerequisite for denationalisation and mankurtisation of the Ukraininan people. The interview also discusses issues of English language funding abroad, or the lack there of in other languages. Furthermore, the discussion on the Globalisation of Languages as a challenge to the preservation of small ethnic groups in the context of super states. With a projection for the loss of 6200 languages, dialects and subdialects within the next century, the interview highlights the responsibility of states to help foster preservation of languages within their domains.
